India Maize Summit 2025 Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan launched the 11th India Maize Summit with a plan to double maize output by 2047. The goal is to improve farmers’ income, bring modern techniques to farms, and attract private companies for value-added maize products.

Delhi Launches Saheli Smart Card Delhi replaced the old pink ticket system with a new Saheli Smart Card for free bus travel for Delhi-based women and transgender persons. The card is usable across metro, buses, parking, and retail.

Syama Prasad Mookerjee Stamp Released The government released a commemorative stamp on the 125th birth anniversary of Syama Prasad Mookerjee at a cultural event in Delhi.

Andhra Pradesh’s Digi-Lakshmi Scheme Andhra Pradesh launched Digi-Lakshmi, a scheme to help urban poor women become digital entrepreneurs by running public service kiosks under the One Family One Entrepreneur initiative.
