JEECUP Counselling 2025: Round 2 Choice Filling Started, Seat Allotment on July 12

The Joint Entrance Examination Council, Uttar Pradesh (JEECUP) has started Round 2 choice filling for Polytechnic diploma admissions 2025. This counselling is for students who have qualified the JEECUP Entrance Exam and want admission in diploma-level engineering and non-engineering courses in government and private polytechnic colleges across Uttar Pradesh.

More than 2 lakh students appeared for the JEECUP exam this year. The counselling process helps students choose their preferred courses and colleges and get a seat based on their rank and availability. This is a very important step after the entrance exam because your final admission depends on your counselling choices and document verification.

Choice Filling Start Date: July 9, 2025
Last Date to Fill Choices: July 11, 2025
Seat Allotment Result: July 12, 2025
Fee Payment & Freeze/Float Option: July 13 to July 15, 2025
Document Verification: July 14 to July 16, 2025
Seat Withdrawal Option: July 17, 2025

How to Fill Choices in Round 2

Here are simple steps to fill your college and course choices:

Visit the official JEECUP website: jeecup.admissions.nic.in
Then on the home page, you can find “candidate activity board” column
In that search and click on “JEECUP 2025 Round 2 Choice Filling” option
You will be taken to a new web page – direct link for Round 2 choice Filling
Login using your roll number, password, and security pin
Select the courses and colleges you want
Arrange your choices in order of your preference
Click submit and then lock your choices
Download and save a copy of your filled choices

🔴 Note: Once you lock your choices, you cannot change them. So check properly before locking.

Seat Allotment & Next Steps

After choice filling, seat allotment result will be declared on July 12, 2025.
If you get a seat, download your seat allotment letter from the portal.
Between July 13 to 15, you have to select Freeze (confirm the seat) or Float (wait for better option).
Pay the counselling + security fee online.
Go for document verification at your nearest district help centre between July 14 to 16.

If you’re not satisfied with the seat, you can withdraw on July 17, 2025.

JEECUP 2025 Exam Recap

The JEECUP 2025 entrance exam was conducted from June 5 to June 13, 2025, in online mode (computer-based test). The total duration of the exam was 2 hours and 30 minutes. The paper consisted of multiple-choice questions (MCQs). For every correct answer, candidates received 4 marks, and there was no negative marking for wrong answers. The exam was held in both Hindi and English languages, allowing students to choose their preferred medium.
